Flowing States is a kinetic installation that explores the dynamic transition of matter between solid and liquid states.
Using paraffin, a material with a low melting point, the installation demonstrates the fluidity and impermanence of physical forms.
The piece emphasizes how the wax can take an infinite variety of solid forms, never settling into the same shape twice. When melted, it returns to a fluid base state, ready to solidify once more in a unique configuration.
